Assessors Webinars & Registering as a FEN Assessor
Welcome to the FEN Assessors web space.
Our Assessors webinar programme is aimed at Emergency nurses who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in assessing others in the ED.
It focusses on assessing students undertaking a FEN qualification and is designed to support assessors in this role.
Assessors have FREE & OPEN access to our online webinar program which consists of live monthly networking webinars with all previous recordings available 24/7.
Upcoming webinars for our assessors programme are advertised via the homepage, they are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month 19:00-21:00 and tickets must be purchased via the homepage advert to view Zoom code details.
The live sessions are also a great opportunity to network with other assessors and allows us to support you in your role.
Our Assessor webinar recordings are open access, however we ask that you kindly submit some basic details prior to watching them.

Become a FEN Assessor
If mentoring and assessing an AFEN/MFEN member developing their portfolio for accreditation, FEN assessors will need to meet the criteria required for competency sign off. Experience in assessing others is not necessary, as this program is designed to equip you with the knowledge necessary to become competent in assessing others in practice.
Following registration as a FEN assessor you will be encouraged to attend or watch the webinars, support and mentor AFEN/MFEN students and sign off their competencies as they develop a portfolio of practice in Emergency Nursing. You will be fully supported through this process.
